I am actually surprised at how good my legs feel today after doing 16 yesterday.

I am going to try and get up to the trails in the next week or two. It is just outside of my sales territory but I have a couple appts up that way next week and might head over at the end of the day. Probably won't have time to run but can at least scope it out!

Steve, that is pretty funny about the bumper sticker, maybe I can get a tat on my calf ... lolAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07061773215250783439noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4117508586192062017.post-3302403843783243212009-11-09T06:45:46.202-06:002009-11-09T06:45:46.202-06:00Jeff...is there any way you can scout out those tr...Jeff...is there any way you can scout out those trails before the race? You'd have a good idea of what you're up against.

I agree with Boomer - you have to do this 50K thing. What an event! Then you can get the "30.068" bumper sticker and show that to your wimpy Marathon-running buddies!Boxcarvibehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14403267379168255742noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4117508586192062017.post-12433374149932787142009-11-08T20:25:13.201-06:002009-11-08T20:25:13.201-06:00Wow, your training ran went very well. With your time, you have a chance to come under 4 hours! Holy Moly!!! I will be luck to get under 7, let alone finish. I will probably have to finish in 2 pieces. One with my body and the other with my busted knee.

You had perfect running weather. We are still in the 80's. Of course, we are in the 80's all year long. I AM HOT!!!

I always carry money in my hydration belt. It has absolutely made the difference between quiting and finishing. I know what you mean about how refreshing it is. I also end up getting something for the last 2 miles.

You have got to do that 50k thing. I absolutely believe you can do it. Hey, the worst case is you will have to walk some of it out.

You are my new hero.Boomerhttp://www.projectexercise.comnoreply@blogger.com
