Hey guys,
I am a little burned out right now. I have been working incredibly long hours and my body is just exhausted. Was thinking about jumping back into it today but my body is telling me to take a break. I have been going hard for about a year now and have not really stopped to relax. So, my plan is to rest up until Sunday morning and jump back into it with a nice refreshing long run.

You know, that is a great idea. I really feel I need to do the same. I know my knee could use the rest. I may follow your lead.
ReplyDeleteSometimes, you just have to let your body recover. If you don't, you risk injury. I hope your knee comes back strong Boomer. Jeff...good decision too. I'm heading into a recovery week myself and may do nothing but some stretching and (gasp!) Yoga X.
ReplyDeleteYeah guys I am just beat right now. Mostly from work but it is effecting my workouts and avaialble time to workout! A few days off should do me some good. Boomer with your knee acting up it might not be a bad idea for you too!
