Going to be a short post today. I am in San Antonio for a convention until Saturday so it will be short due to my lack of time to post.
I did my yoga workout at around 6am today. I tried to clear my mind and focus on each move and pose. I did okay - not great. I still do not enjoy yoga.
I had an awesome lean beef scrambler this morning with a wheat English muffin and glass of milk. Stopped at Chili's for lunch and had the weight watchers grilled garlic chicken with a couple of red potatoes and broccoli. It was really good. I had a protein bar driving to San Anton and then we went out to an Italian place for dinner. It was the worlds slowest service but the Grilled Salmon I had was excellent!
I don't want to do this but tomorrow I am going to take it as a rest day. I will do the scheduled legs and back on Friday and push Kenpo back to Saturday. Tomorrow is a really early day and I just do not have time to get the workout in. Friday and Saturday are a little more flexible so this should work.
Thanks for Reading,
Jeff
Hi, Jeff - I started P90X this week. It is KILLER. I have been following your blog since the beginning. I am impressed with your ability to workout thru the hurricane, etc.
ReplyDeleteToday was yoga for me also. I love yoga but it's too long.
Keep pushing play, my brotha!
(see - I'm picking up some Tony lingo!)
Jacey,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the kind words and good luck with your P90X journey. The first two weeks are the toughest so keep on bringing it!
Do your best and forget the rest!
Jeff
Ok, so I petered out after 15 min. of Yoga X tonight. I totally don't have the patience and mentality for it. But, I think a couple hours of Tai Chi Chuan nightly more than make up for pressing the stop button on Yoga X. Hopefully, one day Yoga X will grow on me and I'll be able to do 16 min. or more.
ReplyDeleteTai Chi Monkey Girl.
Tai chi,
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way about yoga. I struggle with it every week and cannot wait for it to finish. Patience is a virture that I lack and it makes yoga damn difficult to do. Keep trying it!
